Office Hours Update + Communication Reminder
To better serve our patients while supporting a healthy and sustainable work environment for our team, SWMI Health Matters will now have updated office phone hours:
Monday–Thursday: 9 AM – 4 PM
Friday-Sunday: Closed
We also want to clarify the purpose of our urgent messaging system for members.
✅ Appropriate urgent concerns may include:
• Chest pain or trouble breathing
• Severe medication reactions
• Concerning symptoms where you are questioning the ER or urgent care
• Significant changes in blood pressure or blood sugar
• Acute symptoms that feel unsafe to wait on
🚫 Non-urgent concerns include:
• Last-minute refill requests
• Scheduling or rescheduling appointments
• Administrative questions
• Routine follow-up questions
We kindly ask that non-urgent matters be addressed during normal business hours whenever possible. Setting these boundaries helps us remain available and responsive for patients experiencing truly urgent medical needs.
