A day outside is one of the best parts of summer—but protecting your skin should always be part of the plan.

Before you head to the lake, the golf course, the trail, or the ballfield, remember to:

🧴 Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen.
⏰ Reapply every two hours (and after swimming or sweating).
🧢 Wear a hat and UV-protective sunglasses.
👕 Cover up with lightweight, sun-protective clothing when possible.

Holiday Office Hours: Dermatology Associates will be closed Monday, July 6.

Our physicians and staff will be enjoying an extended Fourth of July weekend with their families, and we'll reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, July 7.

As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, all of us at Dermatology Associates wish you and your family a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July. 🎆

This milestone holds special meaning for our practice. As veterans, our physician-owners have a deep appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy and the sacrifices made to protect them. We're grateful for all who have served our country—past and present.

June is Men’s Health Month, and June 15–21 is Men’s Health Week—a time to focus on the simple steps that can lead to longer, healthier lives.

This year's theme, "Partners in Care: For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan," highlights the important role family, friends, and communities play in encouraging men to take charge of their health.

At Dermatology Associates, we encourage men to make preventive care a priority. That includes regular skin checks to monitor suspicious moles, sun damage, and other skin concerns that are often easier to treat when caught early.
