We'd like to introduce you to our new doctor! Meet Dr. Mary Boomer...
Dr. Mary Boomer-Scott, affectionately known by many patients as "Dr. Boomer," is passionate about helping people improve their vision, enhance their eye health, and reconnect with the activities they love. A native of the Grand Traverse region, she is proud to serve the community where she grew up and continues to call home.
After graduating from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2020, Dr. Boomer has dedicated her career to providing personalized, compassionate eye care to patients across Northern Michigan. She believes that healthy vision can have a profound impact on quality of life and is committed to helping patients see their best while supporting their overall well-being.
Dr. Boomer specializes in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pre- and post-operative cataract surgery care, as well as medical optometry. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and takes pride in educating them about their eye health so they can make informed decisions about their care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Boomer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons, exploring the outdoors, hiking Northern Michigan trails, and making memories with their two Australian Shepherds. Her love for family, community, and the natural beauty of Northern Michigan inspires her mission to help patients achieve healthier vision so they can fully experience all that life has to offer.
Through compassionate care, patient education, and a genuine commitment to the community, Dr. Boomer strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of every patient she serves.
