🚗🌭 **What an incredible evening at our 3rd Annual Car Show & Hot Dog Fundraiser!** ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's event such a wonderful success! It was a night filled with classic cars, delicious food, great music, laughter, and smiling faces. Our residents loved visiting with community members, admiring the beautiful vehicles, and enjoying an evening full of fun alongside our staff and friends.

One of the most special moments of the night was celebrating **Jean Hoveland** and her remarkable career. After serving as our **Director of Nursing for the past 13 years** and dedicating **31 years as a Registered Nurse at Kanawha Community Home**, Jean is retiring from her role as DON. Her compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment have touched countless residents, families, and coworkers throughout the years. We are grateful for her many years of service and are thankful she will continue to be part of the Kanawha Community Home family.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to raise **$4,133** through early raffle ticket sales, raffle ticket sales during the event on July 7th, and free-will donations at our Hot Dog Feed! Every dollar raised will help support our residents by enhancing activities, outings, and future improvements to our home.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, brought a vehicle, shopped with our vendors, and helped make this event possible. Seeing our residents, staff, and community come together reminds us just how special the Kanawha Community Home family truly is.

Join us tonight at the Kanawha Community Home 3rd Annual Hot Dog Supper, Car Show & Vendor Event!

We have lots of amazing raffle prizes to give away, and raffle tickets will still be available for purchase throughout the evening!

If you’re bringing a vehicle for the car show, please enter from the west side of the nursing home by the swimming pool to register.

Parking is available on the surrounding side streets.

What a wonderful afternoon at Kanawha Community Home! We were so happy to welcome Jeff Buege back for another fantastic musical performance. His music filled our home with smiles, laughter, singing, and plenty of happy memories.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was watching one of our residents light up as she enjoyed a dance with Jeff. ❤️ Moments like these remind us how powerful music can be—it brings people together, sparks cherished memories, and fills our hearts with joy.
