Last week, we honored and celebrated composer Jerre Tanner and his remarkable musical journey. 🎼

Jerre is a longtime Hawai'i resident, composer of symphonies and operas, educator, author, and music critic whose works have been performed and recorded by orchestras around the world.
• His compositions have reached audiences from Shanghai to Kraków
• He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Hawai'i Artist Fellowship in Music Composition Award
• His lifelong dedication to music continues through his current work on Symphony No. 4 in C: Song of Creation

Mahalo, Jerre, for sharing your accomplishments with us, speaking about your book, and reminding us of the importance of “Saving That Memory.” Your stories, music, and experiences help preserve our cultural history and inspire future generations.

Mahalo to 808 Old School Muscle for cruising over to Ann Pearl's 1st Car Show from May and bringing all the good aloha vibes to our kūpuna, staff, and community.

Fast and furious with the rides, but humble and full of aloha. Thank you for taking the time to talk story, share your beautiful classics and making this day extra special. Nothing beats checking out old-school muscle cars, swapping memories, and reminiscing about the good ol' days.

Our favorite part? Seeing our residents happy, entertained, laughing, and enjoying every minute. We can't wait to do it again.

🎥 Recapping our Ohana Week!

🎉 What a beautiful and busy Ohana Week filled with so much aloha, fun, and connection! Throughout the week, we celebrated our residents, staff, and ‘ohana, with themed spirit days, special activities, and meaningful moments that brought everyone together.

One of the highlights of the week was our special 🌺 May Day celebration and performance honoring the cherished Hawai’i tradition of lei making, giving, and wearing. 🫶 From spreading a little aloha to our kūpuna to creating fun memories with staff and families, this week reflected the heart of ʻohana. Mahalo to everyone who helped make this celebration so special and full of love. ♥️
