In honor of King Kamehameha Day, our residents learned the Ai Haʻa and took part in celebrating an important Hawaiian tradition. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, learn something new, and recognize the legacy of King Kamehameha. 🌺
Happy King Kamehameha Day!

🎸 What an incredible day of live music and hands-on learning!
Residents were treated to an amazing live concert by Brain Child, who brought the energy with a set full of rock 'n' roll favorites. The performance had everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and enjoying a memorable afternoon.
But the excitement didn't stop there. Residents participating in our Sound, Lighting, Camera, and Video Editing class had the opportunity to put their skills into action by working behind the scenes to capture this live event. From operating cameras and managing audio to setting up lighting and editing footage, they gained valuable real world experience while helping document a fantastic performance.
The video you're watching now is the result of their hard work, creativity, and teamwork. A special shout out goes to Andy Ryan for not only making this event possible, but also for sharing his knowledge and teaching our residents the skills needed to bring productions like this to life. His guidance and dedication have helped turn classroom learning into meaningful hands on experience.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. We are proud of our residents and excited to see their talents continue to grow!

Community matters because life was never meant to be done alone.
It’s the people who celebrate your wins, support you through the hard days, and remind you who you are when you forget. It’s the friends, mentors, and teammates who hold you accountable—not because they want to judge you, but because they genuinely want to see you grow.
A strong community challenges you to be better, pushes you outside your comfort zone, and stands beside you through every season of life. The right people won’t always tell you what you want to hear, but they’ll tell you what you need to hear.
In a world that can feel disconnected, community gives us a sense of belonging, purpose, and connection. We’re better because of the people we surround ourselves with. 🤍
