THE RESULTS ARE IN! DID YOU GUESS CORRECTLY? 👀

Some of those answers sounded pretty convincing, didn’t they?

DRUMROLL PLEASE… 🥁
THE CORRECT ANSWER IS D!

Let’s break down all four answers, because understanding the WHY might completely change how you think about how we do massage therapy here at Lunova.

❌ A) Deep tissue massage should hurt to be effective.

MYTH! Deep tissue doesn’t automatically mean painful! Effective therapeutic work involves controlled pressure, proper techniques, and understanding how your body responds. More pain doesn’t equal better results.

❌ B )The more pressure applied, the faster muscles release tension and the longer results last.

MYTH! Your muscles don’t operate on a “harder is better” system. In fact, excessive pressure can cause your muscles to tighten defensively, making the work less productive. The goal is effective pressure, not maximum pressure!

❌ C) Soreness the next day means deeper layers of tension were successfully released.

MYTH! While some soreness after therapeutic massage can be normal, it’s NOT a measurement of success. You can experience incredible results without being sore the next day!

✅ D) The location of your pain isn’t always where the underlying muscle tension or restriction is coming from, and different techniques might be needed for different muscle groups.

WHERE YOU FEEL PAIN ISN’T ALWAYS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS!

Headaches, lower back pain, and shoulder tension can sometimes originate from tightness or restrictions in completely different areas of your body.

AND THAT’S WHERE LUNOVA DOES THINGS DIFFERENTLY!

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all massages. Every session is customized to YOUR body using techniques like deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, sports massage, cupping, manual scraping, reflexology, and more.

Because great massage therapy isn’t just about where it hurts. It’s about understanding what may be causing the discomfort and knowing how to address it and heal it!

That’s the personalized experience you can expect at Lunova, so book your appointment at www.lunovasoma.com.

✨ LET’S PLAY A LITTLE GAME: HOW WELL DO YOU REALLY KNOW MASSAGE? ✨

POP QUIZ! You book a 90-minute massage because your neck is stiff, your shoulders are screaming, and your lower back has officially filed a complaint.

Which of these statements is TRUE?

A) Deep tissue massage should hurt to be effective.

B)The more pressure a massage therapist applies, the faster your muscles will release tension and the longer the results will last.

C) Muscle soreness the day after a massage is a sign that deeper layers of tension were successfully released.

D) The location of your pain isn't always where the underlying muscle tension or restriction is coming from and different techniques might be needed for different muscle groups.

👇 DROP YOUR ANSWER IN THE COMMENTS! A, B, C, or D! No Googling! We’ll reveal the answer tomorrow, Wednesday the 14th. 👀
