Body movement and isolations is a whole task in itself. Males don’t get to have as much natural movement and flexibility as girls typically. We all have to train our bodies over n over again u til it’s perfected… even if it means I become the man and lead a man to try to help explain and guide the feel.

I have fallen really behind on trying to advertise dance lately. Pretty much cuz I can barely even keep caught up and afloat with all the practices for performances for September. 😩
I have enjoyed continuing to work with MJ and seeing his progression through private bachata dance lessons. He has the potential, passion, desire, and eagerness to become great in this dance style, so I am feeding and outing in to it and helping expand his skills!! 🕺🏾💃🏼

DANCE STUDIO SPACE NEEDED!

I’m SEARCHING for a space/building for my dance studio in Downtown Kansas City! 💃🏾🕺🏾

📍 Location: Downtown KC / Crossroads / surrounding downtown areas
📐 Current studio floor: 24’ x 28’
➡️ I can go a little smaller if necessary, but I need enough open floor space to comfortably teach dance classes.

💰 Budget: UNDER $1,000/month
📅 Move-in needed: October 1, 2026

I’m also open to connecting with other dance instructors, studio owners, fitness instructors, creatives, or financially stable individuals who may be interested in splitting rent and going in on a shared studio space together.

MJ is making so much great progression in our private lessons. We are correcting a couple VERY important tips in bachata dancing.
- how to find the 1 count in the music and where u should start your step.
- as far as counting goes… leads always start to the left in your left foot 1,2,3,4 and to the right on your right foot 5,6,7,8.
If u don’t simply do these 2 very important things, the rest of the dance is ruined in my opinion. 😕😭😂
I love how MJ walks I. Every session with a turn pattern in mind that he wants me to help teach him and break down. I also love that we are now jumping in to musicality and starting to work on that.

So proud of Demi and Jeff that have never danced konpa before. They try to do something new n fun every time she comes to KC. This time it was learning to konpa dance!! 🙌🏽 They did so good that I was able to give them several steps to work on and get them transitioned to gouyad as well!! 💃🏼😍🕺🏾

Since bloopers again… more n more seem to keep piling up!! Haha
It first starts by me arriving to dance practice with no dance shoes. Yep, got like 12 pairs of dance shoes and arrived with ZERO. 🙄🤣 our music starts skipping, our music turns into sounding like an alien, I mess up, he messes up. lol
