🚒 Fire Truck Day at Liberty location! 🚒

Today was an exciting day at our Liberty center as our learners got a special visit from a fire truck and ambulance! The children had the opportunity to explore the trucks, learn about the equipment, and meet some amazing local firefighters.

Experiences like these help build community connections while creating fun, meaningful learning opportunities. There were lots of smiles, curious questions, and unforgettable memories made today!

A huge thank you to our local fire department for taking the time to visit and share what they do to help keep our community safe. ❤️

At Family First, we hate jargon-but sometimes it’s unavoidable
So we’re breaking it down for you, so you never have to read a session note and think,
“wait.. what did my child do?”
This week, let’s break down “Manding”!

At Family First, we HATE jargon and want to keep ABA as simple and understandable as possible 🤍

But when you read your child’s session notes, you might see some words that feel unfamiliar.

That’s because those same notes are also sent to insurance, and they require more technical language.

So—we’re breaking it down for you! 💡
Each week, we’ll spotlight an ABA term you might see in notes and explain it in a real, simple way.

This week’s term: Tacting

April 2nd – Autism Acceptance Day 🤍

Today, we celebrate and honor the incredible kiddos we serve and the families who support them every day. Autism acceptance is about understanding, inclusion, and embracing each person for who they are.

In ABA, we are proud to support our clients in building skills, growing independence, and celebrating every unique strength that makes them who they are. We are continuously learning from them just as much as they learn from us.

To our families: thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. Your children inspire us daily, and we are so grateful to walk alongside you.

Let’s continue to promote kindness, inclusion, and acceptance—not just today, but every day.
