It was a hectic and productive week for PNAGKC. Thank you to the shakers and movers and most importantly to everyone that came and supported these events.
***Friday 8/28 was a fun filled Charity golf Tournament by the Philippine Medical Society and PNA Greater Kansas City to support our Medical Mission to San Antonio, Nueva Ecija on January 2027.
***Saturday, August 29 was a bowling for a cause, to support the PNAGKC MEDICAL mission to Dipolog, Zamboanga Philippines, also on January 2027.
*** for the love of humanitarian work and giving back to our native country!

Sharing - MVPKC.org invites pre-nursing, nursing students, licensed nurses, faculty, and administrators for culturally concordant mentoring at the 5th Annual Nursing Critical Mass Gathering (CMG), a mentoring event that addresses challenges unique to those who have experienced social and economic hardship. Join fellow students and practicing nurses from around the KC metro to meet, greet, and share fun/fellowship.

▶️⏩⭐We are so excited to announce a new feature this year. Thanks to the generosity of the KC Area HealthCare Recruiters Association, the usual drawing for door prizes will now includes exciting prizes: seven $500 scholarships. Event objectives are to:

• Help nursing students navigate academic and professional pathways to a career in nursing,
• Create a sense of belonging and encourage students to be excited to be part of the Kansas City healthcare workforce,

• Raise awareness of graduate education opportunities among KC area nursing schools.
