You belong here.

Those three words are at the heart of what we hope people experience when they walk through our doors.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I know that finding spaces where you can simply be yourself matters. It matters in families, friendships, workplaces, faith communities, and therapy rooms.

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the courage it takes to live authentically and the healing that becomes possible when people feel safe, seen, and connected.

We’re glad you’re here. 🌈

Neurodivergent vs. Neurotypical When we talk about neurodivergent vs. neurotypical, we’re not talking about “normal” vs. “broken.” We’re talking about which brains are centered by our systems—and which aren’t. Many challenges neurodivergent people face aren’t caused by their brains themselves, but by environments that weren’t designed with them in mind. Understanding this shift—from “what’s wrong with me?” to “what’s mismatched here?”—can be deeply regulating. Language doesn’t solve everything. But it can reduce shame.

You may have noticed the word neurodivergent showing up more often...on social media, in therapy spaces, and in everyday conversations. But for many people, it’s still unclear what the term actually means, who it applies to, or how it might relate to their own lived experience.

Starting next week, we’ll be sharing a series focused on neurodivergence...what it is, what it isn’t, and why it matters. We’ll talk about common misconceptions, explore how neurodivergence can show up across the lifespan, and name some of the strengths and challenges that often come with differently wired brains.

This series isn’t about labeling or diagnosing. It’s about understanding, language, and making space for more accurate and compassionate ways of seeing ourselves and one another.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Does this apply to me?” or “Why do I experience the world differently?”...you’re in the right place.

More coming soon.
