Most knee pain plans are missing at least one key piece.

A lot of people are told to rest, stretch, or just “take it easy.”

But if the knee can’t tolerate load, symptoms tend to come right back as soon as activity picks up again.

In many cases, knee pain isn’t just about the joint itself.
It’s about how the system is handling movement and force.

That includes:

👉 Strength and load tolerance
👉 How the hips and ankles contribute
👉 How quickly you progress activity

This is where a more complete approach matters.

👐 Hands-on care can help reduce pain and improve motion.

⚡️Shockwave therapy can help stimulate a better response in irritated tissue.

💪 Functional movement training builds the capacity to actually handle life and activity again.

The goal isn’t just short-term relief.

It’s building a knee that doesn’t keep breaking down every time you try to use it.

If this sounds like what you’ve been dealing with, save this for later or send it to someone stuck in the cycle.

Most people think neck pain is just a “tight muscle” problem. Stretch, dry needle, adjust/massage, etc … and it should go away.

But the neck doesn’t operate in isolation.

Your brain is constantly integrating input from your eyes (visual system), inner ear (vestibular system), and cervical spine to understand where your head is in space. When those systems aren’t communicating efficiently, the neck often compensates.

That’s where you start to see persistent tension, fatigue with head movement, and symptoms that don’t fully resolve even when you treat the area locally.

This is also why vision and balance tasks can sometimes flare neck symptoms. Your system is working harder to coordinate movement and stability than it should.

A more effective approach isn’t just about “loosening” the neck. It’s about improving how the brain is processing and integrating sensory input (movement & gravity) so the neck doesn’t have to overcompensate.

When coordination improves, load on the cervical system typically decreases, and symptoms often follow.

If this resonates with what you’ve been experiencing, save this for later or share it with someone stuck in the cycle.

TMJ Walkthrough (Part 2/2)

Now we’re addressing the medial pterygoid- another muscle that often contributes to jaw pain.

While these muscle releases are fantastic to releasing tension and improving jaw opening, this is only 1/3 of the TMJ equation.

The other 2/3? Your neck/shoulders & the brain structures responsible for head pain and jaw movement.

🧠 The trigeminal system is responsible for jaw movement and sensation and has strong connections into the upper cervical spine. That means dysfunction in the jaw can drive neck pain and headaches… and the reverse is also true.

If you only treat the jaw, you might miss a huge piece of the puzzle.

That’s why long-term relief often comes from combining local work (like this release) with improving posture and building strength through the neck and shoulders.

Treat the system, not just the symptom 💪🧠🦷
