Leave behind the unreal and be happy. Suffering often springs from unreal desires, imagined fears, and our perceived empty connections. It’s like a child startled by a figure in the dark, only to discover with the dawn that it was just a coat rack.

Our fears, narratives, and false beliefs are much the same—shadows cast by the mind. When abandon the attachment to them as ultimate reality, the soul is unburdened, stepping into the light where “essence nature” softly illuminates. In this light, there is freedom, a soft joy that flows effortlessly from a perennial source.

“The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” Sylvia Plath

The fiercest adversary of imaginative spirit is our own uncertainty. When self-doubt creep in, it stifles creative energy, silencing the muse within. Creativity can only blossom if we have faith in our own abilities and the determination to see them manifest.

Imagine you have an infinite ocean. If you take a cup of water from it, the ocean remains just as vast and infinite as before. If you pour that cup of water back into the ocean, it doesn’t become any more infinite—it was already boundless.

This is what the verse is saying about wholeness. When you take something from wholeness, or add something to it, its essence doesn’t change; it remains complete and perfect. Wholeness represents the divine or the infinite reality, which is always complete no matter what happens, you are complete no matter what happens.

Leading lines takes me on a path I think I choose. I have always wanted see the end of the path, to control how I get there…

But always it ends up that I can only see two steps ahead, and for the first time in my life it’s not terrifying…

It’s wondrous.
