DONATIONS CURRENTLY MATCHED UP TO $25K! 💙🐾
Gordo is 10 years old. His family, both just 19, unknowingly brought home a puppy with parvo, a highly contagious and potentially deadly illness that can cause severe vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and rapid decline in dogs.
They didn’t know what parvo was or how important staying up to date on vaccines could be. Sadly, Gordo became incredibly sick. Just as the puppy started to improve, Gordo started to decline... fast and hard. At one point, we weren't sure he was going to make it.
But our Urgent Care team didnt give up.
We gave Gordo round-the-clock care and coached his family through his recovery. Slowly, he got stronger. And eventually, Gordo got to go home!
His family was so grateful that we were able to save him that they came back with flowers and a handwritten card for Rachel, one of our Urgent Care technicians, thanking her for helping save Gordo’s life. Please take a moment to read the sweet words of gratitude they wrote. 💙
This is what accessible veterinary care means. It means families don't have to say goodbye simply because they don't have the resources to get their pet the care they need. It means they know someone cares and will fight for their pet.
And right now, we’re asking our community to help us. We’ve launched our Bridge the Gap: Access to Care campaign with a goal of raising $50,000 by October 2nd and thanks to Terry Garberg and Melissa Eichman, every dollar donated will be matched up to $25,000!
That means your $25 becomes $50.
Your $100 becomes $200.
Your $500 becomes $1,000.
Donate today at prckc.org/donate to have your contribution MATCHED.
And if you can’t donate, please share this post. You never know who might see it and decide to help us save the next Gordo...
Let’s bridge the gap together!
