The annual JayDoc GAN HamBingo Fundraiser is back on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 4-5:30pm!

We are excited to have you join us at Hamburger Mary's for an afternoon of performances and incredible prizes! Proceeds from the raffle and bingo cards will support JayDoc Free Clinic, and don't forget some extra cash to tip the amazing performers! We hope to see y'all there!

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, JayDoc Free Clinic will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026. We will resume normal hours and operations on Tuesday, September 8.

Happy International Day of Charity! ❤️ Today, we're celebrating the generosity of the volunteers and donors who make free healthcare possible at JayDoc Free Clinic.

Every year, JayDoc provides more than 100 FREE echocardiograms to patients living with heart failure and other heart conditions. Now, we need YOUR HELP to sustain our Cardiology services.

Echocardiograms give our volunteer physicians important information to help diagnose and manage heart disease and determine appropriate treatment. Our current ultrasound machine is more than 10 years old, and its declining image quality can make it increasingly difficult to provide the highest-quality diagnostic care to our patients. That's why we're excited to announce a new LaunchKU fundraising campaign to raise $5,000 toward a new Butterfly Ultrasound device!

A new device would provide substantially improved image quality while also expanding our capabilities across JayDoc's Specialty Clinics, such as Radiology Night and Musculoskeletal Night.

Your support can help us continue providing high-quality, specialized care at no cost to our patients.

On October 17th, Dr. Dale is going the extra 26.2 miles in support of JayDoc—and YOU can help!

As a JayDoc volunteer physician, Dr. Dale has personally seen the difference the clinic can make: “For many patients, JayDoc provides care and support they may not otherwise be able to receive.”

JayDoc is powered by people like Dr. Dale—volunteer physicians, students, community members, and donors who believe everyone deserves access to essential health care and resources.

Our 2026 Back-to-School Physicals event was a huge success! Last Saturday, we helped 47 students in grades K-12 in the KC area meet their physical exam requirements for school or sports this year!

Thank you to , our collaborator for this event, and all of our wonderful volunteers. Shout-out to Executive Directors of JayDoc and BullDoc, Anya and Meadow, who ran the event!

Finally, special thanks to Dr. K. Allen Greiner, Family Medicine Physician at KUMC and faculty advisor of both JayDoc Free Clinic and Bulldoc Clinic! Dr. Greiner volunteered his Saturday afternoon to see all 47 patients at our event. We couldn't have done it without you!

Registration is OPEN for the annual JayDoc Memorial 5K in honor of Caroline Trupp, brought to you by the KUMC Run Club and JayDoc! Join us on Sunday, September 27th as we take steps to continue Caroline's legacy!

Caroline was a beloved friend, medical student, and dedicated runner who devoted countless hours to the JayDoc Free Clinic. Your donation or participation ensures that JayDoc can continue its operations year-round, serving our community in alignment with Caroline's unshakeable resolve that healthcare is a right for everyone in the Kansas City area.

Continuing our volunteer appreciation, please join us in recognizing the students listed for their hard work, earning them our Volunteer Distinction Award for Spring/Summer 2026.

These KU medical students completed seven or more shifts as Student Physicians over the past five months. They played a critical role in helping JayDoc meet patient demand despite their busy schedules of exams, clerkships, research, summer plans, and more. Thank you to you all!

With a new academic year underway, we look forward to your continued dedication to our patients and to welcoming in the KU School of Medicine Class of 2030, who will be joining us in clinic soon!

If your child needs to meet health requirements for school, get them a wellness exam on Saturday, August 22nd from 1-5pm! Email [email protected] for an appointment to limit wait time, or walk in without an appointment.
