Hi, I’m Janna 👋
I’m the owner and creator of Karmic Shelf, but honestly, calling me a “business owner” doesn’t tell you much about who I am.
I’m a mom of five, a lifelong entrepreneur, a lover of good coffee, music, trees, shoes, laughter, and a little bit of magic. I’m equal parts practical and spiritual, introverted and social, serious when I need to be and probably laughing at something inappropriate when I don’t.
I’ve spent more than a decade building businesses and helping people, but somewhere along the way I realized that what I really love is creating spaces where people feel comfortable being exactly who they are.
That’s a big part of why Karmic Shelf exists.
I’ve always been fascinated by the things that make us us—our stories, our experiences, our intuition, our personalities, our beliefs, our weird little quirks, and the things we’re still figuring out. I believe life is full of seasons, and sometimes we outgrow an old version of ourselves before we have any idea what the next version looks like.
I know that feeling well.
I’ve reinvented myself more than once. I’ve started over, changed directions, taken some hard hits, learned some hard lessons, and somehow kept finding my way forward. I’ve learned that starting over isn’t necessarily a sign that something went wrong. Sometimes it’s exactly what happens when you finally start listening to yourself.
I’m drawn to all the things that help us explore that journey—tarot, crystals, astrology, energy work, human design, rituals, meditation, symbolism, spirituality, and the countless ways people seek guidance and connection.
But I also believe you don’t have to be “woo-woo” to enjoy any of it.
You can be deeply spiritual and still be practical. You can love tarot and also roll your eyes at yourself for buying another pair of shoes. You can believe in energy while simultaneously needing your coffee before you can discuss it. 😂
There’s no right way to be curious.
And there’s definitely no requirement to have everything figured out.
One of my favorite things about meeting people is hearing their stories. I love a good conversation with a stranger who somehow doesn’t feel like a stranger five minutes later. I love the person who comes in looking for a gift and ends up discovering something completely unexpected. I love someone who walks through the door because they’re curious but isn’t quite sure what they’re looking for.
Those are my people.
I want Karmic Shelf to feel like a place where you can wander around, ask questions, laugh, explore something new, find something that speaks to you—or simply spend a little time somewhere that feels good.
I’m not here to tell you what you should believe.
I’m much more interested in helping you discover what resonates with you.
At this stage of my life, I’ve become especially passionate about embracing who we are instead of constantly trying to become who everyone else thinks we should be. There’s something pretty powerful about getting older, getting wiser, becoming more comfortable in your own skin, and realizing you don’t have to apologize for taking up space.
So if you find yourself at Karmic Shelf, come say hi.
Tell me what you’re looking for. Tell me what you’re into. Tell me you have absolutely no idea what you’re looking for. Tell me your favorite crystal, your weirdest experience, your newest obsession, or just tell me you need a minute to browse.
I’ll probably have a recommendation.
And if I don’t, we can figure it out together.
I’m Janna. I’m still figuring life out too—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Welcome to my little corner of the world
