While we've been in the competition BBQ game since 2010, we've only been cooking with any kind of seriousness since 2018. ...and what a ride it's been. From the outset we've been on a bit of a tear, finding ourselves ranked among the best Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) teams from the beginning. We often get asked, "so which one of you is 'Fat' and which one of you is the 'Dumb" one?" To be

clear, Fat&Dumb are not nouns, they're adjectives... and they don't always carry negative connotations. BBQ without FAT is dry and the occasional "happy accident" can have delicious results. ...or we can justify any mis-steps as staying "on-brand".
