For some families on Father's Day, Dad is still right there in the middle of it all, telling the story everybody knows and getting pulled into one more photo. You can miss someone deeply and still feel furious they're gone. That anger grows when you're the first in your circle to lose a parent, widowed in your early forties, or watching your parents decline while friends plan holidays with their healthy families. Acknowledging your anger can make grief a little easier to carry.
