Alice Mae "Bebee" Trahan

Alice Mae "Bebee" Trahan, 31, passed away on May 23, 2026, at Calcutta House of Hospice in Lafayette, Louisiana, surrounded by the immense love of those who cherished her most.

Born in Crowley, Louisiana, Bebee was truly one of a kind the type of soul people spend a lifetime searching for. She was beautiful inside and out, gentle in spirit, compassionate by nature, and carried a heart so big that it left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her smile could light up a room even on the darkest days, and her presence alone brought comfort, peace, and warmth to so many. To know Bebee was to feel loved. She had a way of making people feel important, safe, and understood without even trying.

Bebee loved deeply and without limits. She gave pieces of herself to everyone she cared for and never hesitated to stand beside the people she loved most. She was the kind of friend who showed up no matter the circumstance, the kind of daughter who loved with her whole heart, and the kind of mother whose entire world revolved around her children.

Above all else, Bebee's greatest purpose and proudest accomplishment in life was being a mother to her two beautiful children, Kolyn and Ellie. They were her heart walking outside of her body. Every decision she made, every dream she carried, and every ounce of strength she had come from the love she felt for them. She adored every moment spent with her babies - whether it was beach trips, family days, bedtime cuddles, laughter filling the house, or simply being together. The love she gave her children was pure, unconditional, and endless, and that love will continue to surround them forever.

Bebee was also deeply dedicated to her work as a lead at Coushatta, where she was admired not only for her hard work and leadership, but for the kindness and care she showed everyone around her. She built lasting friendships everywhere she went and touched countless lives simply by being herself. People gravitated toward her because she was genuine, uplifting, and full of light. She never met a stranger, and she had a rare gift of making everyone feel like family.

She loved the beach, time spent with family and friends, making memories with the people she loved, and finding joy in life's simple moments. No matter where life took her, the people she loved were always at the center of it all. Her laughter, her gentleness, her strength, and her love will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Bebee fought with incredible strength, grace, and courage until the very end. Even through life's hardest moments, she continued to radiate love and beauty in a way that inspired everyone around her. Her life was a reflection of selflessness, resilience, and unconditional love - and her absence leaves a pain that words could never fully describe.

She leaves behind a family and community who loved her beyond measure, along with countless friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing her.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellie Mae Guidry; one son, Kolyn Anthony Borill; one stepson, Carter Borill; her father, Hollins Trahan Sr.; her mother, Amie Broussard (Carl); one sister, Hallie Rae Trahan; four brothers, Tyler Clark (Amanda), Taylor Clark (Beverly), Tony Clark (Alayna), and Hollins Trahan Jr. (Paige); her maternal grandparents, LeRoy (Susan) Broussard and Dixie (Newton) Vedlier; her paternal grandfather, Doris James Trahan Sr.; many nieces and nephews, Allie Mae, Taylon, Mary Helen, Olivia, Liv, Alaya, Hollins III (Doodie), Hank, Gemma, Jess, Leni Jo; and her godchildren, Kaylynn, Mason, Ammalee, Bali Rae.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Bufford and Kelly Landry and Alvie and Inez Broussard; her paternal great-grandparents, Elodis and Jessie (Colman) Trahan and Roy and Agnies (Thibodeaux) Trahan; her paternal grandmother, Alice Mae Trahan; and her best friend, Allen Sistrunk.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Troy Duhon will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 29, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan. She will be laid to rest at Hanks Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Clark, Taylor Clark, Tony Clark, Hollins Trahan Jr., Kolyn Borill, and Carter Borill. Honorary pallbearers will be Taylon Clark, Hank Clark, and Hollins Trahan III.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM until services on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Though her time here was far too short, the love Bebee gave during her 31 years will live on forever. She will be missed beyond words, loved beyond measure, and remembered for the beautiful soul she was to so many.

All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan (337) 536-6124.
