💗 The celebrations continue! 💗

Earlier this week, we celebrated the incredible people and communities that make Assisted Living feel like home. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on another amazing group that plays such an important role in the lives of our seniors—our Rehabilitation Professionals! 💪✨

In honor of National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, Nurse Next Door wants to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, rehabilitation nurses, technicians, and entire rehab teams who help seniors regain strength, confidence, independence, and quality of life every single day.

Whether it’s taking those first steps after a hospital stay, rebuilding strength after an injury, or helping someone safely return home, your work makes a difference. 💕

We are grateful to work alongside so many incredible rehabilitation professionals in our community as we share the same goal: helping seniors live safely, independently, and joyfully. 🏡💗

💗 Celebrating Senior Citizens Day at The Reserve last week! 💗

Today was all about celebrating some very special people — our SENIORS! 🥰

Nurse Next Door had such a wonderful time at The Reserve spreading a little extra love, laughter, and pampering in honor of Senior Citizens Day!

A huge THANK YOU to Kathy Kissner with Concierge Functional Wellness for joining us and giving the residents some much-deserved TLC with relaxing hand and foot massages. 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ Seeing the smiles, conversations, and connections happening around the room was exactly what Happier Aging® is all about.

And we couldn’t leave without recognizing the families who trust others to care for the people they love most. 💌 Nurse Next Door wrote personal thank-you notes to the residents’ families, simply thanking them for allowing us the privilege of loving on their seniors.

Growing older should never mean experiencing less joy, less connection, or less FUN. Our seniors deserve to be celebrated, pampered, listened to, laughed with, and reminded just how important they are — not only today, but every day. 🌸

Thank you to The Reserve for welcoming us and letting us spend such a special day with your residents. We absolutely loved every minute of it! 💗🌼

"Running on empty..." That's what Sarah's daughter told us when she first called.

It’s easy for life to get quiet when you rely on care every day. For Romeo, this was often the case. But he held a beautiful wish in his heart: he dreamed of seeing a dolphin in real life. His care team knew all about Romeo's dream and decided it was time to make it happen. When they pulled up to the marine park, you could instantly see the pure excitement take over. He sat right by the water's edge, feeding them fish and beaming with joy as he watched the dolphins glide through the water.
