Kagami Reiki means “Mirror Reiki.” It is rooted in the traditional system of Reiki and uses the contemplative image of the mirror, the ink, the cloth, and the Great Bright Light to help students understand practice. The Mirror represents original clarity. The Ink represents what obscures that clarity. The Cloth represents daily practice. Through Shoden training, students begin with the Reiki precepts, meditation, breath, self-treatment, hands-on healing, reiju, ethics, and daily return.
