Spring Branch Community Health Center Our mission is to increase the number of healthy families in our community by providing high quality, comprehensive health services.

SBCHC is located on the west side of Houston, Texas, in Harris County. Harris County is the third most populous county in the United States with a population of over four (4) million people (U.S. Census, 2010), this represents a 20% increase in the population since 2000. Within Harris County approximately two million people are residents of Houston, the fourth largest city in the country. The Spri

As we celebrate its 4th annual observance, we celebrate the important role that Community Health Workers play in advancing public health. Through health education, connecting individuals with valuable resources, helping patients navigate the healthcare system, and strengthening the communities they serve, Community Health Workers make a huge impact and difference. Congratulations to Dr. Marlen J. Trujillo, Chief Executive Officer of Spring Branch Community Health Center, on being honored among the Top 30 Influential Women of Texas 2026.

Tonight celebrates the women whose leadership, resilience, and vision are making a lasting impact across Texas, and Dr. Trujillo exemplifies all three. Under her leadership, Spring Branch Community Health Center has continued to grow its reach and impact, with nearly 300 health professionals serving more than 25,000 patients annually across Spring Branch, West Houston, Cy-Fair, Katy, and Northwest Houston.
