Many patients wait longer than they should before seeing a GI specialist.
Not because symptoms aren’t there, but because they’re hoping things will resolve on their own.
And sometimes they do.
But when they don’t, that delay can make things more complicated than they need to be.
Digestive symptoms often start subtly:

膳食纖維:多攝取水果、蔬菜、豆類與全穀類,有助於維持腸道好菌平衡,並幫助降低大腸癌風險。

加工肉類:盡量減少熱狗、培根、香腸、火腿等加工肉品的攝取。過量食用紅肉也可能增加風險。

運動:肥胖與較高的大腸癌風險有關。規律活動有助於消化與腸道健康,即使每天散步也有幫助。

酒精與菸草:吸菸與大量飲酒都與較高的大腸癌風險有關。減少或避免兩者,都能帶來長期健康益處。
每天的小習慣,長期下來都可能帶來很大的改變。

4 lifestyle habits that can significantly lower your risk of colon cancer ↓
Prioritizing Fiber Intake: Eating more fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains can support healthy gut bacteria and help lower colore**al cancer risk.
Limiting Processed Meats: Try to limit foods like hot dogs, bacon, sausage, and lunch meats. Red meat in excess may also increase risk.
Exercising: Obesity is linked to a higher risk of colore**al cancer. Regular movement supports digestion and gut health. Aim for consistent activity—even daily walks help.
Limiting Alcohol & To***co: Smoking and heavy alcohol use are both linked to a higher risk of colore**al cancer. Reducing or avoiding both can make a meaningful difference.

Better digestion starts with simple habits, here are 3 you can start today.
First: Slow down and really chew your food. Most people rush through meals, but chewing 20 to 40 times per bite helps activate digestive enzymes and makes digestion easier before food even reaches your stomach.
Second: If possible, take a 10 to 15 minute walk after eating. This gentle movement helps your stomach and intestines move food along, reducing bloating, gas, and that heavy, uncomfortable feeling.
Third: Protect your sleep. Sleep is when your gut repairs itself, and better sleep lowers stress hormones that can trigger inflammation in the digestive system.
Small habits add up to big changes. Better digestion comes from consistency, not perfection.
