Our team is seeking for a full time vet technician or vet assistant who wants to focus on their passion for helping animals. You will have a chance to advocate for pets and educate clients on all aspects of pet health.

Job Description Summary: The primary purpose and function of the Veterinary Technician is to support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care, advocating for pets and educating clients. Veterinary assistant supports and assist the veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring safety of pets, clients and quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities for this position are as followed but not limited:

• Assist doctors in appointments

• Restraint both canine and felines

• Lift at least 50 lbs

• Administer vaccines and medications SQ, IV, IM

• Excellent Communicating and people skills

• Assist in surgery perform teeth cleanings

• Provide care for hospital patients

• Explain treatment to clients

• Radiology

Skills:
• Able to multi-task

• Take TPR on both canines and felines

• Proficiency in Venipuncture

• Intravenous catheter placement

• Basic math and spelling

• Computer skills (Intravet)

• Bilingual Spanish speakers is a plus

• Determine parasites under microscope

Education:
High School diploma
Credentialed, Licensed, Registered Veterinary Technicians
