Some people grow into their careers. Others are born into a legacy.

For our Funeral Director in Charge (FDIC), Von Carl Thomas, Sr., Thomas & Sons Funeral Home has been a part of his life since he could walk!

Founded in 1935 by his grandmother, Allie Foster Thomas, our funeral home has remained a family legacy built on service, compassion, and dedication to the community.

From growing up around the funeral home to becoming our FDIC and Head Mortician/Embalmer, Von has spent his life serving families during some of their most difficult moments.

His knowledge, experience, leadership, and commitment to this profession are invaluable to our funeral home and the families we serve.

And although he might tell you otherwise, we’re going to settle this once and for all…
