Many of you know I left (what I experienced as such) the high control religion I was born & raised in after an abuse crisis came to light in 2023.
A few of my closest friends and family know what happened in 2025.
Even fewer know the ins and outs of how I’ve been healing since then ❤️🩹
I’ve shared bits and pieces of my story over on my Instagram and Substack.
There’s a whole lot more to share. 🗣️
And so I’m starting at the beginning. My hope is that people, especially survivors, feel seen, heard, and validated. I’m an avid podcast listener, and when I went searching for podcast episodes of stories like mine, out millions of episodes...I found a grand total of 3.
I hope you feel hope when all hope seems lost. I hope you feel encouraged.
I hope it challenges your limiting beliefs and creates cognitive dissonance that needs to be created.
I hope I learn along the way, growing through mistakes I know will be made.
I hope it changes you and me.
I hope you take what resonates and leave the rest.
And I hope it helps you remember the magic that is, and has always been, within you. 🪄✨
