Located only 10 minutes north of the heart of Bay City, in the small town of Kawkawlin, Huron Woods is a skilled nursing facility that offers short-term rehabilitation rooms for those recovering

from surgery or injury, as well as extended nursing care beds for those individuals needing hospice, medically complex, wellness or memory care services. Since we are a smaller 60-bed facility, our residents and staff get to know each other like family.

He has quickly built strong, trusting relationships with both residents and their families, showing genuine compassion and respect in every interaction. He takes the time to truly know his residents, which reflects in the personalized care he provides. This month's Resident of the Month is Kaye, someone who may prefer the comfort of her room, but whenever she joins us, her warm smile and positive spirit brighten everyone's day. She especially enjoys music, crafts, and getting her nails done. These activities bring out her vibrant personality and give her opportunities to connect with others.
