Most people in Utah who look for a therapist don't get one. Roughly a third of Utahns with anxiety or depression symptoms report they couldn't access the care they needed which is a wider gap than the national average. This includes our Utah kiddos.

Gold Counseling has openings this week in our South Ogden office.

Our clinicians are trained in ART, EMDR, DBT, ACT, and IFS. In person or telehealth across Utah. Founded by Debee Gold, LCSW with over 25 years of clinical work, built on one idea: people get better through connection, not in isolation.

🚨 PARENTS—if your child is struggling with big emotions, school stress, or social confidence, this group is designed to help them build real skills in a setting that doesn’t feel like “more work.”

Our Equine Therapeutic Skills Group for ages 7–11 gives kids the opportunity to learn emotional regulation, grounding, mindfulness, empathy, and awareness through hands-on interaction with horses.

These are the same kinds of skills children need when they are:

🐴 Feeling anxious about school
🐴 Overwhelmed by emotions
🐴 Struggling to calm themselves down
🐴 Having difficulty connecting with peers
🐴 Lacking confidence in social situations
🐴 Needing healthier ways to handle stress

And sometimes kids learn these skills much more naturally when they’re outside, moving, interacting, and connecting with an animal instead of sitting across from an adult talking about their feelings.

Registration is open now, and space is limited.
We have 'two' Monday group times available: 4:30–5:30 pm and 6:00–7:00 pm beginning September 14 at Pony Haven Corral in West Bountiful.

💛 Early Bird: $280 if registered by September 7th
Regular registration: $295
