We were thrilled to represent West Hawaii Region, Alii Health Center, and the West Hawaii Regional Health Foundation at the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Governor’s Luncheon! It was a fantastic morning connecting with business and community leaders from across the region, made even more special as our very own CEO Clayton McGhan was officially appointed as the incoming Board Chair for the KKCC for the upcoming term. We are incredibly proud of this remarkable achievement and look forward to continuing our mission of advancing health, wellness, and community growth across West Hawaii under strong, visionary leadership.

September is Sepsis Awareness Month. Sepsis affects an estimated 49 million people worldwide each year, claiming 11 million lives globally.

You can help save a life by knowing what to look for.

Remember T.I.M.E.:
-Temperature (higher or lower than normal)
-Infection (signs or symptoms)
-Mental Decline (confused, sleepy, hard to rouse)
-Extremely Ill (severe pain, discomfort, shortness of breath)
