We are excited today to be celebrating Misty Baker, a Med Aide & Team Lead who has served in our building for two years and in the industry for 23 years! 🎉
One of Misty's favorite things about her job is the special bond she has with individual residents. She and one of our residents always take a moment when Misty takes the resident's meds for a "chit chat," checking in with each other about life and family. ♥
One thing you may not know about Misty is that she loves bowling, camping, and fishing. It may surprise most people who work with her to learn that Misty never baits her own hook or takes the fish off. Whose job is that? Usually her husband's but, as Misty puts it, "anyone who doesn't have my name." 😂
If Misty could give one piece of advice to someone just start off in this field, it would, "Never Assume." Thank you, Misty, for being an amazing member of our Broadwell team! 🤗
