Broadwell Behind the Scenes: It’s not easy to catch pictures of these two because they’re constantly working behind the scenes to keep our building and grounds AMAZING!!! A huge shout-out to our maintenance team for taking care of the AC, the plumbing, the landscaping, the painting, the filters, the heating, the power spraying, the repairs… and all the other million and one thinks we bring you! 🤗 We appreciate you guys!!!

It is wonderful having so many talented home cooks on staff at Broadwell, and sometimes one of them joins us for Delish Demo. 😃 Matthew, our sales director, showed us how to make individual pot pies. Fun, easy, and so yummy! Thanks, Matthew, for all you do to make Broadwell a wonderful place to work and live!

As much as we don’t always talk about it in this industry, everyone knows that moving to a community like ours — no matter how warm and wonderful and inviting and fun and homey it is — is often a difficult transition. In fact, the senior stage of life is marked with some pretty significant life changes. 🌺

One of the ways we help mitigate the challenges that can accompany those changes is to offer things like our “Navigating Life” group. Led by a licensed therapist who volunteers her time, we meet once a month to discuss life and loss, support one another, and gain useful tools for navigating next steps. We all know there is beauty in the world, and this is a group that helps us find that beauty and move forward… together. ❤️

Broadwell Behind the Scenes!
Most people know that, as both an Independent and Assisted Living Community, we employ quite a number of nursing staff. What many don’t realize, however, is just how many hats our nursing team members wear! 😊 One of the many ways these caring and dedicated professionals serve our residents is by assisting them in getting to and from meals, activities, special events, medical appointments, and basically anything else you can think of. We are SO THANKFUL for the myriad ways in which our nursing team is there 24/7 to help our residents stay safe and grow in happiness. 🤗
