City staff has been notified by Oncor of a planned power outage near Keller Town Center this Thursday, July 30.

Oncor says the outage — scheduled from 8 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday morning — will be limited, impacting Keller Town Hall, the Keller ISD Natatorium and The Keller Pointe. Streetlights in the vicinity and traffic signals at the intersection of Bear Creek Parkway and Rufe Snow near the Natatorium will also be affected. As a reminder, dark intersections should be treated as four-way stops.

To accommodate the outage, The Keller Pointe will close at 7 p.m. on Thursday and open at 6 a.m. on Friday. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience to members.

This fall, City Council will present the inaugural Keller Citizen Awards, a new tradition dedicated to recognizing the residents and businesses who make a difference in our community.

Nominations are OPEN for:
- Citizen of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Senior of the Year
- Youth of the Year
- Business of the Year

Finalists will be shared in September, and winners will be announced during a special celebration the evening of Oct. 22 at The Bowden.
