Dr. Dijkhoffz brings an incredible combination of compassion, intelligence, and enthusiasm to every patient she meets, and we couldn't be more excited to have her caring for your pets.
Originally from the mountains of Puerto Rico, Dr. Dijkhoffz knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Growing up in a rural community and seeing the challenges many families faced in accessing veterinary care inspired her lifelong passion for helping animals.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University, graduating magna cm laude, and received honors in both Small Animal Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Since then, she has focused her career on small animal medicine and urgent care, with special interests in internal medicine, ultrasound, and solving complex medical cases.
Dr. Dijkhoffz is Fear Free Certified and believes that great veterinary medicine is about more than treating illness—it's about building relationships, supporting families, and advocating for pets every step of the way.
Clients quickly discover that she brings energy, determination, and genuine care to every appointment. Whether your pet needs routine care, urgent attention, or help solving a complicated medical problem, Dr. Dijkhoffz is ready to help.
When she's not at the hospital, she's busy keeping up with her husband, two young children, and their dog, Diego. In her rare moments of free time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, baking, sewing, and wondering where all that free time went.
