💜FROM GRAPES TO GRAPE JELLY💜

There’s something special about growing, making, and providing for your family. It brings a sense of pride, gratitude, and independence—and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to teach these gifts to my children.

They love grape jelly, and wanted to learn how it’s made. From picking the grapes to making something delicious together, we had the best time. These are the moments I hope they carry with them long after they’ve grown up and started families of their own.

The jelly may be something we enjoy for a season, but the skills, traditions, laughter, and memories will keep on giving. These moments are forever imprinted on my heart. 💜

There’s something extra special about the last sunflower patch to bloom.

I’ve been enjoying my nightly visits as these beautiful blooms slowly open up, soaking in the peacefulness of this little place that brings me so much joy. Knowing that before long, the flowers will dry up and become special treats for all the birds.

This piece of land is more than just a patch of flowers, it has become a little corner of happiness that I’m so thankful we’ve been able to share with those who have come to capture photos and make memories here too.

For now, I’ll keep enjoying these golden blooms while they last, and appreciate them in all their beauty.

🐛 GREEN HORN WORMS 🐛

Yuck! I’ve had a garden for years and have never seen these little boogers before. But for whatever reason they are here this year, trying to eat all of my tomato and pepper plants. Not today, I say! I’m growing these veggies for my family. So each night when I check on the garden, I scan and remove the green horn worms that somehow keep multiplying and foraging on my plants.

We had the best time hosting Library on the Road at Hilltop Haven! Everyone had so much fun picking and arranging beautiful bouquets to take home. Thank you to all who joined us and helped make it such a wonderful day!
