At Green Clean Innovations, we lead with heart. We truly want to help people, support busy households, and provide the best cleaning experience possible within the time, scope, and budget of each appointment.
Over the years, we have occasionally made exceptions to our Initial Deep Clean policy when someone was in a tough situation, working within a limited budget, or hoping to start with a smaller maintenance-style cleaning.
We made those exceptions with good intentions. We set realistic expectations and hoped for kindness, communication, and grace in return.
But after many real-life experiences, we have learned that skipping the Initial Deep Clean almost always creates the same problem: the client still expects deep-clean results, while the cleaner is working within a limited maintenance-clean scope.
Professional cleaning is time-based, labor-based, and scope-based. When the proper foundation is skipped, hidden buildup, neglected detail work, soap scum, grime, and restorative cleaning tasks often surface during the appointment — but the time and budget needed to properly address them were never built into the service.
Moving forward, we will be strictly enforcing our Initial Deep Clean policy for all new recurring clients.
This means we will no longer be able to begin recurring service with a standard maintenance clean first.
This policy is about protecting expectations, protecting quality, protecting our cleaners, and setting every client relationship up for long-term success.
We deeply value clients who respect our policies and treat our team as human beings — hardworking professionals who care deeply, may occasionally make a mistake, but deserve the opportunity to correct it with communication, grace, and mutual respect. We want to work with clients who value honest guidance, realistic expectations, and the foundation required for consistent long-term care.
We wrote a full article explaining why this policy exists, what an Initial Deep Clean does, and why it matters — especially for homes that may look clean on the surface or have been cleaned by another company before.
Our Initial Deep Clean policy helps create the strongest foundation for successful recurring service. Even homes that look clean on the surface can have hidden buildup, missed detail work, or areas that need deeper attention before maintenance cleaning can truly be effective.
