United HealthCare-Peoples Health fails to address their primary care option restrictions. They are all about shareholders and networks and raking in more money from the taxpayers. The Louisiana Department of Insurance says they have no say-so in the matter, Ditto from the legislators. We are reaching out to our US Senators but that is in flux with the recent elections.

Louisiana Medicare folks. BEWARE of the primary care restrictions that United Health/Peoples Health plan imposes in addition to their other network shackles.

Did you know that United/Peoples Health MA plan forbids a DPC doc from referring an MA patient to a specialist? If we do, the patient's insurance denies coverage and the patient has to pay out of pocket.

United HealthCare (PeoplesHealth) Medicare Advantage Plan in Louisiana says I cannot refer a patient, who chooses to have me as their P*P, to a subspecialist. Someone who i have treated for 20 + years
Plain and simple: Obstruction of the practice of medicine.
