🎉 Happy 2nd Work-iversary to our Lead Therapist, Kelsey! 🎉

Kelsey is an advocate for kids and their families and a huge part of what makes Bloom & Grow, Bloom & Grow. 💚

She believes in communication for ALL, follows each child’s lead, and brings a truly neurodiversity-affirming approach to everything she does. She celebrates every form of communication and makes sure kids feel heard, understood, and valued for exactly who they are.

As our Lead Therapist, Kelsey is also someone our team can count on for support, collaboration, and a strong voice for doing what’s right for the kids we serve.

Kelsey, we are so lucky to have you leading, advocating, creating, and growing alongside us. Happy Work-iversary! 🌱💚

🌱 Maybe you’ve seen this friendly face around Bloom & Grow!

Roxie, OTR/L, joined our team last week, and we’re so happy to officially introduce her! 💚

Roxie grew up in Delaware County, PA, and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Alvernia University. She brings 13 years of OT experience across Early Intervention, acute care, outpatient, and school-based settings.

Much of Roxie’s career has been spent in schools, where she has worked to create safe, supportive spaces for kids to build on their strengths, explore their interests, understand their needs, and develop confidence in advocating for themselves.

Roxie is also the mom of two Autistic and ADHD children, an experience that has deeply shaped both her personal perspective and her work as an OT. She is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based care and believes in learning from and centering Autistic and neurodivergent voices.

Her approach focuses on understanding each person’s strengths and sensory needs, providing meaningful accommodations and supports, presuming competence, and helping kids feel safe and confident being themselves.

Roxie is committed to continuing to learn and grow as a therapist while supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families through connection, collaboration, advocacy, and respect for each person as their authentic self.

We’re so excited to have Roxie at Bloom & Grow in both the office and early intervention! 🌱💚

Every child has strengths.

Some are curious.
Some are creative.
Some notice details others miss.
Some never stop moving.
Some think in amazing ways.

And sometimes those same children need a little extra support.

Maybe getting dressed takes an hour.
Maybe mealtimes are stressful.
Maybe big feelings seem to take over.
Maybe it's hard to make friends, use words, or keep up at school.
Maybe your child wants to do something—but their body or brain makes it harder.

That's where we come in.

At Bloom & Grow Therapy Services, we don't try to change who your child is. We help them build the skills they need while honoring the strengths they already have.

We support children with:
🌱 Sensory processing
🌱 Emotional regulation
🌱 Communication
🌱 Fine and gross motor skills
🌱 Feeding
🌱 Social connections
🌱 Executive functioning

We also coach parents, because you know your child best. Together, we'll find strategies that fit your family and help everyday life feel a little easier.

Every child deserves to be understood.

And every family deserves support.

If you're wondering whether OT, Speech or Floortime could help, we'd love to talk.

Happy 4th Worki-versary to someone who’s been part of the Bloom & Grow story from the very beginning! 💚

Melissa was finishing OT clinicals when Bloom & Grow first opened our doors in 2020—right across the hallway from her mom’s accounting practice. As soon as we grew busy enough to need another occupational therapist, Melissa had graduated and was ready to jump into this adventure.

Over the past four years, we’ve watched her grow into an incredible clinician. Whether she’s helping children build emotional/sensory regulation skills or dreaming up creative, engaging Interactive Metronome activities that keep kids motivated and having fun, Melissa brings knowledge, compassion, and creativity to every session.

It’s no surprise she’s a favorite among the families she serves and her teammates alike.

Melissa, thank you for four wonderful years of dedication, growth, and heart. We are so grateful for everything you do for our children, families, and team. Happy Worki-versary! 💚✨

For the past two years, our Office Manager, Ann Marie, has been the friendly voice answering your calls, welcoming new families, navigating the ins and outs of insurance, playing Tetris with schedules, and handling all of the behind-the-scenes details that keep Bloom & Grow running smoothly.

She keeps us all going, and we're so grateful for everything she does each and every day. 💚 Thank you, Ann Marie, for being the heart behind so much of what happens here!

One of the best parts of summer OT? Taking therapy outside ☀️

Today, all we needed was some bubble solution, a couple of straws, and two friends having fun together. It looked like simple play, but they were working on so many skills at the same time:

🫧 Using their breath and oral motor muscles to blow through a straw
🫧 Figuring out how much air to use to make bubbles
🫧 Taking turns and enjoying the activity together
🫧 Building communication, connection, and self-regulation through shared play

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our event this morning!

Today we celebrated AAC, signs, gestures, gestalts, and emerging spoken words. Every form of communication matters, and every child deserves to be heard.

We always leave these events with our hearts full and reminded of why we chose this path. The parents who show up every day to support, advocate for, and celebrate their children are nothing short of extraordinary. Your strength, patience, and unwavering compassion inspire us, and we are so grateful to be part of your journey.

Thank you for allowing us to celebrate every communicator with you. 💙
