Kennett OAKS Nutrition Center OAKS (Older Adults Keep Serving) Mission: To provide nutritious meals, beneficial supportive services and social interaction.

The OAKS Senior Nutrition Center provides a list of activities, such as BINGO on Monday and Wednesdays, as well as some great dancing to live music on Thursdays. The seniors center is under the umbrella of Aging Matters that provides and coordinates the following services for seniors: Advocacy, Counseling, Distance Dining Program, Family Caregiver Program, Health & Wellness Programs, Information

& Referral, In-Home Services, Legal Services, Long term Care, Ombudsman Program, Outreach, and much more.

It is with great sadness that we share the funeral arrangements for Sharon Montgomery, a former administrator of Kennett Oaks.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the McDaniel Chapel, with David Carnell officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Please keep Sharon’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
