Our Creekstone resident, John, celebrated 🎉 his 🎈 85th birthday today 🎉 in Western Style! 🤠
John was born in Gary Indiana and has one younger sister Jeanette who lives in Tucson AZ.
John graduated with a PhD in Plant 🌱 Pathology and moved to Grandview Washington in 1966 with his wife Jeanne when John accepted a job at an Experiment Station in Prosser Washington as a Research Scientist 👨🔬
John and his wife Jeanne have two children. A daughter Christie who lives in Richland and a son David who lives in the Netherlands. John is the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren.
John retired after 34 years at the IAREC Experiment Station. During his career he traveled all over the world helping to cure diseases in pea 🫛 plants.
John spends his days enjoying western movies and loves a good John Wayne. His favorite color is green and he LOVES German Chocolate.
A very special thank you to his daughter Christine Brown, who shared some of her father with us today! We appreciate this wonderful highlight.
