DOT physical in Kennewick, timed for real driver schedules — the window between harvest wrap and winter routes is exactly when smart drivers renew. A medical certificate that lapses in December means a parked truck in the worst season to be parked. Check your expiration date today. If it's inside 90 days, book now. Bring your license, medication list, glasses or hearing aids if you use them, and your CPAP compliance report if that applies to you.

Our FMCSA National Registry-certified medical examiners will walk you through the rest.

Wearing hearing protection is important. Wearing it correctly matters just as much. 👂

On a noisy jobsite, even small gaps in the fit of your earplugs can reduce the protection they provide.

For most foam earplugs, remember three simple steps: Roll. Pull. Hold.
A proper fit helps your hearing protection do its job, whether you're working around heavy equipment, machinery, or other sources of noise.

Swipe through for a quick refresher, and consider sharing it at your next toolbox talk.
Protecting your hearing is worth the extra few seconds.

DOT physicals in Kennewick include a hearing check — a forced whisper from five feet, or an audiogram if the whisper test isn't conclusive. It's in the federal standard for a plain reason: at 60 mph, a horn, a voice on the radio, or a bearing starting to sing is information you can't afford to miss.

October is Protect Your Hearing Month, so here's the quiet part said out loud: most drivers lose hearing so gradually they're the last to know. The exam catches it early. Earplugs on the dock keep the rest.

Due for a renewal? Schedule online! Our FMCSA National Registry-certified medical examiners, do the exam in English or Spanish.

What if your crew could complete their occupational hearing tests without leaving the worksite?

For employers managing hearing conservation programs, coordinating annual testing can mean pulling employees away from their schedules, arranging transportation, and working around production demands.

ProCare offers boothless audiometry, allowing qualifying hearing tests to be performed in a suitable quiet room without a traditional sound booth.

With onsite testing options, employers can coordinate screenings for multiple employees while keeping the process closer to where they work.

October is National Protect Your Hearing Month — a great reminder to review your workplace hearing conservation program.

Interested in onsite audiometric testing for your team? Let's talk.

A DOT medical certificate can be valid for up to two years, but not every driver receives the full 24 months.

During a DOT physical, an FMCSA-certified medical examiner evaluates whether a driver meets the medical standards for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle. Depending on the findings and applicable requirements, a shorter certification period may be appropriate.

That could mean one year, three months, or another interval based on the driver's individual circumstances.

The takeaway? Know your expiration date, understand your certification period, and plan ahead so your next exam doesn't catch you off guard.

Between pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol screening, and job-specific health evaluations, there are several steps employers may need to coordinate before a new hire can get started.

At ProCare, we work with Tri-Cities employers to help make that process more manageable, with occupational health services designed around their workforce needs.

Planning your next round of hiring? Schedule online and get ahead of the seasonal rush.

Hearing loss doesn't always happen all at once. In the Tri-Cities' warehouses, packing sheds, and shops, repeated exposure to loud noise can gradually affect hearing over time — often before someone notices a change.

And unlike a long shift, the effects of noise-induced hearing loss don't simply go away when the workday ends.

Swipe for the decibel reality check, then do two things: save this post, and send it to the crew that has to shout to talk.

A baseline audiogram takes about 20 minutes — boothless, so it can even happen at your workplace.

Sometimes the first person who helps make a healthcare visit easier isn’t the provider — it’s the person at the front desk.

At ProCare, our front desk team helps keep the process moving from the moment you walk in. That can mean helping with L&I paperwork, finding an appointment time that works around your shift, or simply making sure you know what happens next.
And yes — you’ll check in with a real person. 🧡
