Shin splints ruining your summer runs? 🏃‍♀️

Protein is everywhere right now… but is it always the best option? 🤔

A recent study compared high-protein and high-fiber breakfasts to see how they affect weight loss.

Researchers found that a high-protein breakfast helped reduce hunger more. But that doesn’t mean fiber isn’t important. The high-fiber breakfast also improved gut health.

For years, the advice after a concussion was simple: rest in a dark room and wait it out. We now know that prolonged rest can actually make outcomes worse. 🔬

Current international concussion guidelines recommend symptom-limited activity within the first 24–48 hours, followed by a gradual, guided return to physical and cognitive activity under the care of a trained professional. Prolonged rest increases the risk of post-concussion syndrome.
