Cadwell had a fantastic time at ICCN 2026, and the energy at our booth was palpable. Thank you to everyone who came by to see our EMG, EEG, IONM, and PSG solutions and to connect with our team, Paulo Reis, Michal Holub, Abe Gardner, and Laura Becerra.

After 10 years leading Cadwell, Patrick Jensen, Ph.D., is stepping into a new chapter as Cadwell's strategic advisor, following months of succession planning. We are excited to welcome Jeff Cohen as Cadwell’s next CEO.

Patrick always prioritized Cadwell’s customers, partners, and employees, and our company is in a better place because of it. Under his leadership, we've expanded our global market presence, entered the epilepsy monitoring market, grown our innovation portfolio through investments in Sleepmate and Seer Medical, and developed solutions shaped by direct feedback from physicians and technologists.

As Jeff guides Cadwell into its next chapter, we are proud to see him carry forward our deep commitment to customers, prioritizing quality, service, and support every step of the way.

Jeff joins Cadwell after more than 20 years in medical technology, including recent experience as senior vice president and general manager of Philips Ultrasound, where he led global teams focused on earning customer trust and establishing strategies that met the needs of clinicians and patients. "It feels like we've been driving an old Golf and now we've got a brand-new electric car." ⚡

That's how Norway's Special Hospital for Epilepsy (SSE) described replacing their 15-year-old EEG system with Cadwell's Arc EEG in an article published by Epilepsiforbundet. The old system had gotten so dated that replacement parts weren't even available anymore.

The new system brings:
✅ Wireless recording, so patients are no longer tethered to a cable in the wall
✅ Three cameras covering the full monitoring room, with a big jump in video quality
✅ One-button room automation that handles the TV, lights, and bedside EEG display
✅ Same equipment from the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) through to the regular ward, with video recording that follows the patient

SSE is the first install on a regional platform, with roughly 100 systems planned across Helse Sør-Øst by the first half of 2027! This will enable hospitals to more easily share information while also targeting lower costs.
