The neck is more than a place we hold tension.
It is also one of the most important drainage regions of the body, especially when we begin looking at the connection between the head, brain, cervical lymph nodes, and lymphatic flow.
In Part 2 of my glymphatic series, I’m exploring how manual lymphatic drainage may support the head and neck pathways involved in fluid movement, nervous system calming, sleep, and recovery.
This is not about claiming MLD “drains the brain.” It is about understanding the anatomy, respecting the evidence, and looking at the neck as an important bridge between lymphatic therapy and emerging glymphatic research.
Coming soon: MLD, the Neck, and Cervical Lymphatic Pathways.
