Our Blu Grotto residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon out on the patio! 1st we had fun bobbing for apples 🍎 then warmed up with hot apple c***r and a slice of pumpkin cake. Everyone had such a wonderful time and the c***r was a big hit! 🍂☕🎃

Get ready, detectives... Murder Mystery Clue is back for Year 2 at St. Catherine Commons Independent Living!

All month long, residents will put their sleuthing skills to the test as they work to solve this year’s exciting mystery. With two new clues released each week, participants will use the process of elimination to uncover who the killer is, where the crime took place, and what weapon was used.

This year’s mystery comes with a fun twist: our Resident Ambassadors are the suspects, and our very own Executive Director is the victim! As the clues unfold throughout October, residents will gather evidence, compare theories, and see if they have what it takes to crack the case before the final reveal.

It’s a month filled with suspense, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of detective work. Who will crack the case first? Follow the clues, trust your instincts, and let the investigation begin!

Yesterday, we joined the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Kenosha & Racine Counties💜

One especially meaningful moment was seeing Ryker, the grandson of our very own memory care nurse, carrying the white flower. During the Promise Garden ceremony, the white flower represents the hope that one day there will be a first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Ryker visits our blu grotto residents from time to time and they always love seeing him.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who walked beside us, including our residents, families, friends, coworkers, community members and our wonderful friends from Amedisys Hospice 💜
