⛳ Congratulations to our partners at Sharing Center, Inc. on a fantastic inaugural golf outing!

Despite a rainy start, the day turned out to be a wonderful celebration of community, connection, and support for an important mission. We were honored to be part of it and enjoyed every minute.

Here’s to a successful first year, and many more to come. Save us a seat (or a foursome!) for next year’s event! ☀️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

We often see comments like, “Narcan is free, but insulin isn’t.”

The truth is that both insulin and naloxone (Narcan) save lives, and affordable access to lifesaving medication should never be a controversial issue.

What many people don’t realize is that naloxone isn’t simply “free.” Much of the funding for naloxone distribution comes from opioid settlement dollars. This is money recovered from pharmaceutical companies that played a significant role in fueling the opioid crisis through deceptive marketing and unsafe practices.

Naloxone is emergency medicine. It is used to reverse an overdose and restore breathing when someone’s life is in immediate danger. Every overdose reversed is an opportunity for another day, another chance, another recovery story.

Supporting risk reduction does not mean ignoring other healthcare challenges. We can advocate for affordable insulin, affordable healthcare, and access to lifesaving overdose reversal medication at the same time.

At Hope Council, we believe every life has value. Whether someone needs insulin, naloxone, cancer treatment, or mental health care, compassion and access to care should never be up for debate.

Lives are worth saving. Every single one.
