Jubilee Association of Maryland promotes independence, secures housing, and connects friends for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Montgomery County. Jubilee now supports approximately 150 adults with residential support services, and more with our new housing support services. Our emphasis on creating community and friendships is a hallmark of Jubilee.

“Rosamond has significantly enhanced the experience of office visits for everyone. She consistently greets staff and visitors with a positive attitude and a warm, welcoming smile. Rosamond has a wonderful sense of humor, is always willing to help, and readily goes beyond when needed, without hesitation. Her attention to detail and care is so appreciated," said Operations Manager Kathy. Kathy co-nominated Rosamond for the award with Custodial Bookkeeper Mildred.

⚾Congratulations to Special Olympics Maryland Softball State Games gold medal winner Ben L. and team. Ben also won the Best Sportsman of the Year award after hitting a game-winning home run!

🙌Kudos as well for Ben’s direct support staff, Jubilee's Fulkra Cassell! Fulkra threw himself wholeheartedly into the quest for the championship! Fulkra drove Ben to weekly practices and games and cheered him on. Seeing Ben’s competitive drive, Fulkra and Ben spent their free time this Spring at the batting cages working on improving his skills for the big game.

🥇“When I first started to work with Ben, his mom told me how seriously he takes his athletics and how much he loves sports. I saw how engaged Ben was at practice, and I started to get immersed in it too. I learned a lot from Ben about softball. We started going to the batting cages so he could improve his skills. You should have seen me when he won the gold medal, I was so proud and happy for Ben,” said Fulkra.
