When Gerald Harris visits, it’s about so much more than music! He takes the time to visit with our residents, dance with them and get everyone singing along.

Gerald knows our residents by name, and it’s clear how much they look forward to his visits. We’re so grateful for the joy and connection he brings every time he stops by!

Sometimes, there’s nothing better than sitting down with friends, enjoying a snack and simply catching up! Saturday mornings are the perfect time for a little conversation and good company.

Since this last Saturday was Sweetest Day, we made it a little extra sweet with some special treats and refreshing sweet tea. It was a wonderful morning spent enjoying good food, good friends and even better conversation!

At Altercare Post-Acute, we love seeing the meaningful connections our residents share. There’s something so special about reconnecting people who knew each other earlier in life!

Recently, our resident Richard was thrilled to reconnect with an old friend, James, whose parents had been best friends. And the connections didn’t stop there! James’ roommate, Joe, also happened to know Richard.

It truly is a small world! We feel so grateful to be a part of these special reunions and the memories they bring back to life. 💙

We sure love when Liberty Bible Church comes to visit! During their most recent visit, we enjoyed some quality time together while creating cute fall-themed wreaths. We’re always grateful for the time spent together and the smiles they bring!

Our residents are getting excited for Halloween! Recently, they worked together to color an adorable Halloween-themed piece. It was a fun and festive activity that gave everyone a chance to get creative, and now they have a colorful decoration to help bring some Halloween spirit to the facility! 👻🎃

We’ve been busy over here! Our residents have been enjoying fun fall crafts and puzzles, along with some time soaking up the fresh air in the courtyard with bubble guns and snacks.

We also recently held our high-stakes prize auction, and there were some pretty great prizes up for grabs! Residents came ready to spend their hard-earned “money” on some fancy finds. Residents earn prize money by participating in daily activities and winning games, making the auction a fun way to put those earnings to use!

There’s always something fun happening, and we love seeing our residents making memories, staying active and enjoying time together!

Last week, we celebrated country music legend and philanthropist Dolly Parton with a special visit from the Northcoast Jitterbug Connection! The group came out to dance and help us honor this incredible woman.

To join in on the celebration, everyone dressed up with glittery pink, country-themed glasses and plenty of Dolly-inspired spirit! It was a fun-filled day celebrating the music, personality and legacy of an amazing lady!

Yeehaw! We had a rootin’ tootin’ good time at our Wild West Autumn Harvest Ball last week. We kicked up our heels and enjoyed an afternoon of music and fun with a DJ who kept us dancing and laughing all day long! Guests enjoyed delicious treats like donuts, lollipops and Cow Tails, along with refreshing c***r.

A special thank you to Absolute Home Health and Hospice for providing the yummy c***r and donuts and helping make our celebration extra sweet! It was a boot-stompin’ good time filled with great music, tasty treats and plenty of smiles!

Recently, we hosted our first-ever Car Show, with proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association! It was a wonderful day filled with amazing cars, music, raffle prizes, snacks, drinks and plenty of fun. 🏁

Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, vendors and supporters, we raised $330 for the Alzheimer’s Association which is a fantastic accomplishment for our first year!

A special thank you to All Pro Sports in Brimfield for their generous donations, Summit Racing in Tallmadge for all their help and contributions, Absolute Hospice and Home Health, Patriot Home Health, and everyone who donated their time, talents or resources to help make this event such a success.

Recently, we enjoyed a fun-filled sock hop with live music from Chris and Scott! Our residents had a great time listening to the music, enjoying delicious French fries, and cooling off with refreshing root b**r floats. It was a fun afternoon filled with good music, tasty treats, and plenty of smiles!
