Go Mariner's Today in Detroit! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1B4xoePB82/
The Seattle Mariners are attempting to win their fourth consecutive series as they face the Detroit Tigers in the rubber match.
The same lineup as yesterday will be utilized, as J.P. Crawford remains sidelined due to being hit on the hand by a 96 mile per hour fastball by Framber Valdez.
Cole Young will lead off and Patrick Wisdom will play third base, while C**t Emerson starts at shortstop.
Jhonny Pereda will start at catcher for the second consecutive game.
Josh Naylor will bat third, despite being labeled the "dirtiest player in baseball" by the Tigers players and manager A.J. Hinch, who also threw a fastball at Naylor's head.
The Mariners will hand the ball to the struggling Luis Castillo, who boasts a 2-5 record and a 5.33 ERA.
However, Castillo did show signs of improvement during the piggyback, going 1–1 with a 2.38 ERA.
