🔮✨ Two Little Witches Looking for Their Forever Spell ✨🔮

Meet Maple & Hazel — 10-month-old sisters with two very different kinds of magic!

Hazel is the bold one of the duo. She’s sweet, outgoing, and always ready to investigate what’s happening around her. Naturally, she has appointed herself the leader of the sisterhood—because someone has to be in charge! 💜

Maple is a little more reserved at first, but once she knows you, she’ll melt right into your lap. She’s a true professional snuggle bug and has a special talent for sitting by the window, watching birds and squirrels, and chirping away to her favorite human as if she’s giving them the latest neighborhood gossip. 🐦🐿️💕

Both girls are playful, affectionate, and wonderful with kids. They may have different personalities, but together they make one seriously magical pair and have been casting spells on everyone they meet. 🐈‍⬛🌙

During August, the staff, volunteers, and supporters of Sawyer Lake Veterinary Community Care Clinic, Puget Sound WildCare, and Kitten Tamers rallied a food and pet drive to support animals in the Spokane area affected by the massive Spokane fires.

Wow, we can't thank our customers and supporters enough for their response! Our first delivery was made Saturday to Spokeanimals, with a second trip planned for next week. On behalf of the 99 wildlife animals (PSWC), the 40 kittens and cats (Kitten Tamers), and our SLVCCC customers for your support!

This northern alligator lizard was brought into our facility at the end of July, after being found on the side of the road in a plastic bin with a sign that said “Free Lizard.” Our staff performed initial medical exams and found that there were no long lasting injuries or trauma from the experience. He spent a few weeks here recouping and basking in our heat lamps before he was ready to return to the wild!

Northern alligator lizards are wild reptiles native to the Pacific coast of southern British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and northern and central California. They typically live in forested areas, snacking on spiders and a wide variety of insects.

Give today to help the wildlife animals in our care! GiveBIG 2026 has started. It is your support that will help raise $10,000 for our Orphan Diagnostic Fund. Each orphaned, just-born, or injured animal takes specialized equipment, medical treatment, and training, but we need your support to make that possible.

Physical therapy with our pigeons! When rock pigeons come in unable to use their legs we us physical therapy techniques to help them gain neural pathway strength, muscle, and flexibility. This has helped countless birds go from sitting ducks to soaring eagles. This video is sped up for entertainment purposes.
