A unique opportunity to serve West Marin and help shape the future of College of Marin is on this November's ballot.

After 15 years of dedicated service, Trustee Stephanie O'Brien is stepping down from the College of Marin Board of Trustees as she relocates abroad. As Superintendent/President Jonathan Eldridge shared, "Trustee O'Brien brought immense knowledge and deep passion to her work on the board. She has been an incredible advocate for students, the college, and Marin and leaves a remarkable legacy."

Trustee Area 7, which includes West Marin and portions of Novato, will be up for election this November. If you're passionate about public education, student success, and serving your community, consider running for this important leadership role.

Interested candidates should contact the Marin County Elections Office soon, as candidate filing deadlines are approaching in August.

Please help us spread the word throughout West Marin. We want to ensure community members interested in serving have the opportunity to learn about this important role before the filing deadline.
