Our flocking crew covered some serious miles today, making stops in Brook, Momence, and one VERY unexpected location…
🚔🦩 THE NEWTON COUNTY JAIL! 🦩🚔
Yes… you read that correctly. 😂
We flocked the Newton County Jail!
Our community members had an absolute blast helping with this one! Thankfully, everyone was on their best behavior, no handcuffs were needed, and our flocking crew was allowed to leave with all members accounted for. 😂🦩
But wait… did anyone notice something a little different in today's pictures? 👀
Apparently, our flock has called in REINFORCEMENTS!
🦩 Meet the newest—and definitely LARGEST—member of our flock! Our giant flamingo made his debut today, and something tells us this won't be the last time you see him. 😂

All joking aside, one of the very best parts of this fundraiser has been watching our community members get involved, laugh, and have so much fun bringing a little happiness to our surrounding communities. ❤️
Every flock helps support the Autumn Trace–Kentland Compassion in Healthcare Scholarship, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, participated, nominated someone for a flocking, or simply followed along and cheered us on.
💰🦩 And stay tuned through the end of this week! We'll be sharing an update on just how much our flocking adventures have raised for the scholarship so far. We can't wait to share the total with you!

🦩🩷 THE FLOCK HAS BEEN BUSY… AND THEY’RE NOT DONE YET! 🩷🦩
These little pink troublemakers have officially been putting on some MILES! 😂 Today alone, they made their way through Fowler, Momence AND Kentland! This is the only picture we managed to get because apparently we’re much better at flocking than remembering to take pictures. 🤦‍♀️😂
But what we LOVE most is who these flamingos have gotten to visit along the way! 🩷
We’ve flocked families of past community members, our Displaced Coffee Drinkers, local schools, local businesses, friends, neighbors, and so many wonderful people who have supported Autumn Trace–Kentland. 🦩
This started as a fun way to raise money for our Compassion in Healthcare Scholarship, but watching the community join in, laugh, nominate each other and send these flamingos ALL OVER has made it even better than we imagined! 🎓❤️
Now there’s really only one question left…
👀🦩 WHO. WILL. BE. NEXT?! 🦩👀
Because the flock is FAR from finished!

We have to give a HUGE shoutout to Earl Park Sign Shop and, of course, the “greatest” Andrew out there! 😉😂
Andrew generously donated THREE of our “You’ve Been Flocked!” signs for our September flocking fundraiser, and we truly cannot thank him enough!
These signs have been traveling right along with our flamingos, showing up in yards throughout the area and helping make this fundraiser even more fun. 🦩 Seeing people laugh, take pictures, and get excited about who is going to be flocked next has been so much fun!
Support like this from our local businesses means so much to us. Every donation helps us put more of the money we raise directly toward the Autumn Trace–Kentland Compassion in Healthcare Scholarship. 🎓❤️

Today brought another round of FLAMINGO INVASIONS, and we are having WAY too much fun with this! 😂🩷
Our flamingos have been popping up in yards, hiding around landscaping, and causing a little pink chaos everywhere they go. And judging by these pictures, we aren’t the only ones enjoying it! 😂
A HUGE thank you to our friends at Autumn Trace–Rensselaer for jumping in and helping us spread the flocking fun today! 🦩💕 We absolutely love seeing our Autumn Trace communities come together — especially when it involves a little harmless mischief!
And remember… we NEVER tell who sent the flock. 🤫
There are still plenty of people out there with perfectly flamingo-free yards… and we think that needs to change. 😏🦩

🦩 OPERATION: COLLEGE FLOCKING = SUCCESSFUL! 🦩
Remember when we hinted that today’s flock was traveling a little farther than usual? 👀
Well… SURPRISE, BRI! 😂🦩
After a long softball practice, Bri headed back to her dorm room in Decatur expecting to relax… only to open the door and discover that THE FLOCK HAD FOUND HER! 😂
Bri is one of our RAs who comes back to work with us whenever she’s home from college, and apparently going away to school wasn’t far enough to escape the Autumn Trace flamingos! 🦩🩷
We also owe a HUGE thank you to our wonderful friend in Bloomington, Illinois, who helped us pull this one off! We sent the flock her way, and she helped make sure these crazy birds made it all the way to Bri’s dorm room. We absolutely could not have done this surprise without her! 🩷
Judging by Bri’s face, I’m not sure this was exactly the relaxing welcome home she expected after softball practice. 😂😂
Apparently our flamingos have no respect for state lines, mileage, college campuses OR dorm rooms.
So, if you thought you lived too far away to be flocked…

Our flamingos were on the move again today, and our community members were right in the middle of the action! 💕 They are taking this job VERY seriously… although we may need to work on our flamingo-placement technique. 😂
Every flock that lands helps support the Autumn Trace–Kentland Compassion in Healthcare Scholarship, and we are having way too much fun raising money for such a great cause!

One little flock may have traveled a bit farther from home today and landed somewhere we’ve NEVER flocked before. 🤫🦩

🍕 Pizza tastes even better when you make it yourself! 🍕
Today our community members rolled up their sleeves and became the chefs! From sauce and cheese to picking their favorite toppings, everyone got to create their own perfect pizza. ❤️
There was plenty of conversation, a little taste-testing along the way 😉, and most importantly, lots of fun together.
These are the moments we love at Autumn Trace–Kentland — getting together, trying something fun, sharing some laughs, and then getting to eat the results! 🍕😂
I have to say… our pizza-making crew did a pretty amazing job!
